The principle emerald-cut diamond weighing 1.21ct accompanied by a GIA report number 14319791 stating it has a colour and clarity of E VVS2. Flanked either side by three tapered baguette-cut diamonds weighing a combined total of 0.79ct with an estimated colour and clarity of G VS.
Mounted in 18ct yellow gold.
Measuring 16.5mm at widest point tapering to 5.3mm.

BOMBÉ ENGAGEMENT RINGS
The name ‘bombé’ comes from the French and literally means ‘bomb-shaped’. This style of ring is seen from the Edwardian period onwards however it is in the vintage 1950s, 60s and 70s that this shaping became most popular. The bombé shape offered a rounded canvas allowing for a multitude of possible unique variations, with each period providing an interesting different adaption on it.
